The virus would have to hijack already hijacked mechanisms. It could potentially be more effective at replication leaving you with cancer, and an exponentially larger COVID viral burden. A double whammy.
Or covid may only infect normal cells because the cancer is mutant and may not be suitable, leaving you with regular COVID and cancer. a double whammy.
Or maybe it works like you suggest in certain types of cancer.
Id probably stick with the usual chemo/radiation/surgical treatments.

this treatment would literally kill tons of cancer patients who are immunesuppressed. i hate how people just refer to cancer being treated so broadly by a single agent. Cancer works in many many different ways... Its like locking your front door to stop a robber, but leaving your windows and garage wide open.

The biggest assumption is cancer cells are sufficiently acidic enough to not have their pH increased by the HCQ to the point were the Zn++ penetrates the cell wall. It would seem that dosage of HCQ is vitally important. In fact erring on the low end would be more beneficial than erring on the high end where too much HCQ would protect the cancer cells. So getting the dosage right would be really important.

thats def an assumption, but that is less important and a much more discoverable fact than COVID's replicative ability within cancer cells vs 'healthy' cells.
A major limitation of this treatment idea is that if it were beneficial at all it very likely would only be relevant for upper/lower respiratory type cancers...places COVID replicates/infects. It would likely be a fatal treatment for blood and bone cancers. No reason to suspect it would have any effect on eye, brain, reproductive organs, most abdominal organs, and skin because of the niche of COVID.

And you cant possibly imagine cancer cells with their increased demands wouldn't be utilizing HCQ and ZN at greater proportions than normal cells causing greater protection of cancer cells vs COVID over 'healthy cells'...or that the increased lactic acid enviorment of cancer cells could be less preferred targets than healthy cells.
I mean yea you did suggest a mechanism in a limited range of certain types of cancers that it could potentially work to treat. But im pointing out that there are mechanisms that would likely make your treatment idea harmful or null.

Well just use the treatment on the type of cancers it performs well. And you probably don't need COVID to attack the cancer cells. You can probably use another type of virus that requires RNA polymerase to replicate instead of COVID.
Maybe this is why there are patents on CONVID and other viruses.
