As someone who moved there in January, I'm interested to hear you expound.
I'm fully against taking in Gaza refugees btw, I just find it interesting when people say this and have no context.

The Somalians showed up in large numbers in Minny, they took over a number of industries such as cab driving and tried to force in rules along religious lines for all passengers, they have HUGE problems with their kids getting radicalized and going back to Somalia, etc.
I’d have to look up other stories from up there including the Somali who tossed a kid off a balcony at Mall Of America.

Fair enough, and yeah I've read some stuff.
But while there's certainly a significant Muslim population I'd say it has hardly turned the city into the shithole that many would like to believe.
It's eons beyond any Louisiana city in almost every metric, and I love LA. Lived there my whole life. I just hear those comments often on this site and people typically have never been here and just repeat news headlines.

Importing hordes of poor Muslims from Somalia can only degrade the city. No other outcome is possible. Just the way it is.
