Me and the wife both have tickets in the past year and she had one accident and ours went down. I have no clue why

Odds are that the insurance company doesn't know about the tickets. They have to run MVR reports to pull someone's driving history and those reports cost almost $20 per driver. So besides when someone is trying to buy a new policy, its not often that insurers re-run those reports to find new tickets.

Was the accident her fault or other drivers?

ETA: also may have had an accident or ticket that you were previously being charged for that fell off your driving record (usually 3-5 years depending on insurance company)

They are always her fault man

She bumped some toothless baw in a 15 year old F250 at 3 mph. Barely did anything to her Honda but he had to go to the hospital. That's why our damn insurance is so expensive.

I have used progressive for over 10 years. No problems at all. If you have crappy credit/driving history, try Geico.

can’t get root to give me a quote. Been stuck on my test drive with a 1-3 days wait for 2 weeks.

Maybe call em up? It’s worth it if you’re a good driver. I pay 60$/month less than with progressive.

Had to let them go due to the never ending rate increases without a single accident or ticket.

I’ve never had coverage through Progressive but one of the little Füts was hit by a Progressive policy-holder and I had to have an attorney friend call them to motivate them.

All for a slam-dunk claim with the loss value of under $15k. smdh

Geico just went up and Progressive would be $200.00 cheaper for the year..for a one time payment.

When I still had my Mustang I switched from Farm Bureau to Progressive (cut my bill damned near in half for the same coverage). The only claim I had was from the flood (Mustangs don't float, apparently ). They sent out an adjuster very quickly and I got ~$14k for it (had to be totaled - manual 2008 Mustang GT CS V8 in very good condition with around 110k miles) with no muss and no fuss.

I've had progressive for years but only made one claim. It was a brand new vehicle and they tried to put aftermarket parts on it but once I complained they use the new parts without much issue. They also have that monitor you can put in your car if you are a safe driver you can get pretty big discounts through that also

Absolutely, one of the 4 auto carriers I sell regularly and have never had any problems with claims for my customers..
