Streaming services in terms of cutting cable

In what way has this failed? Streaming has performed spectacularly at cutting cable. Cutting cost may be different story.

What does that mean?

I'll never go back to cable.

New formula Coke

Coca-Cola had been the market leader for 100 years. Absolutely insane that they thought changing the formula was a good idea.

Didn’t this fail because if it rained, it would get all over your clothes?

Same. More likely it was all the morons who ate an entire large bag in one sitting.

Wasn’t it already decided that new coke was a 100% marketing idea? They were always going to bring old coke back. I thought coke made a ton of money with this.

I didn’t list New Coke because I’m not convinced it wasn’t a marketing scheme itself designed to sell classic coke.

Coke sales were down 3 straight years and Pepsi signed Michael Jackson

It was brilliant because it was months of free marketing and headlines when they reintroduced the same damn beverage

When I was a kid I knew I was getting this for Christmas and the box sat in a room for a month before. I spent that month staring at this box and dreaming about how awesome it was going to be like Ralphie fantasizing about the Red Ryder. I memorized the Super Bowl results listed and every word on the box. I drew up potential plays to dominate on the metal gridiron. In my mind it was going to be close to the chess game scene in Star Wars where the pieces were animated and killed their opponents. I never wanted a material item more in my life. Christmas morning arrived and I tore it open, set it up and the little frickers would not travel in the correct direction no matter how I turned the adjustment on the player's base. I was beyond disappointed. frick Tudor Games. They scarred me.

I had that game(?). All it did was vibrate. And had all those stupid little microscopic mooshy punch-out footballs that got everywhere.
