Problem with Centipedes in the house

Came home from vacation with dead centipedes all over the floor. My wife and I cleaned them up and this morning I see live ones coming in...some new dead ones. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something that I can buy at Lowes to keep them away? Need advice!

I have been fighting this for weeks. I use Demon and it is doing a great job. However, many were still getting inside. I bought peppermint essential oil, mixed with water, and sprayed the perimeter. I'm finding only two or three per day inside now. Spray with Demon, Suspend, or Talstar three times per week. Peppermint oil also deters spiders.
