if you think your kid is dumb and wont be able to make the grades, then send him to private school. as long as you are paying that tuition, they will get the grades

nope, we don't know what we're having yet.

we're just thinking ahead.

off topic: the waiting to find out what we're having, boy or girl, is driving me nuts. it'll be great no matter what..but the waiting is crazy.

Yes it is.

I think the only Catholic school for girls that goes for 13 years is Sacred Heart and it is priced at private school levels. McGhee is a great school as well. But, both sexes can go to Newman, Country Day or St Martin's.

You should look into Lusher as well.

I can. It really has been a great addition to the education scene.

The mortgage payment you'd need to pay to get into Lushers' district, is probably more than tuition at a normal (non-ASH) Catholic school.

OP never said where he lived. Don't need to be in district to go.

We should meet up.

Lusher is a liberal arts school. It's still relatively new.

Nah, Newman's is field turf. Lusher's field is crappy except for the name.

Brees Family Field..

My friend's girlfriend went to Ben Franklin. She is probably an OT-7 or 8 and has a good, easygoing personality. So there's at least one.

How much do Newman and Country Day cost? Are either of them above 20K?

I'm assuming the Catholic schools are 7-9K/year, right?
