Agreed, if you're serious get something you can handle and keep working on certificates to keep proficiency.

The real answer though is a Bonanaza A36 if you're talking single engine. Great performance, comfortable seating in the back, and easy to fly

Actually I have my instrument and multi. But think upkeep on a twin engine would be almost twice as much

I'm not an expert. I just get flown around for work, and that's what I hear.

My boss' regular plane is a Daher TBM 900:
TBM 900
We fly on it quite a bit. It's comfortable and quick.

If I had the money, I'd get a Beaver.

I don't have that kind of money, but do have access to the corporate jet through NetJet when flying with my boss.

We typically fly the Cessna CitationX, which seems more comfortable to me than the Falcon 2000EX at least with the NetJet fleet.

The Falcon is faster apparently, but the seats in the back face each other and if you are facing someone 6'2 or better it gets a little awkward after a while, especially when hungover flying back from Vegas...

I'm sure it all depends on which layout you have, but at least with what we have access to if I were making the call I'd go with the Citation.

Yeah but you also live in the coolest place in the world to be a pilot. Not many places to land that sucker in SC.

Always thought the Caravan on floats looked awesome too

Bonanza aka "Doctor Killer"

I was wondering if someone would post this...I hang out with a few pilots and they always call the Bonanza a "V-tailed doctor killer"....

You can put wheels on em, or floats with retractable wheels.

NetJet is used by a few clients as well. Good luck on a plane. I wish I could afford one.
