Those storms have severe thunderstorm warnings on them. Ping pong ball sized hail and 60 mph winds are the hazards.

Actually, these are severe thunderstorms, designated as such by the National Weather Service in Lake Charles, Louisiana. But yes, they do produce rain.

Rolled thru southwest Austin around 4:00. Thought it could be tornado. Cooled things down though

And cooler temperatures. High in Baton Rouge is 70 tomorrow.

It warms right back up in time for someone along the Gulf to get skullfricked by weather on Sunday.

Got hammered in Round Rock around 3:00. A few shingles blew off but def cooled off the evening.

Yep, hearing it coming. A lot of thunder at that. Really do need some rain here.

Looks like the bulk of that storm is going to slide off to the east of Lafayette. But Lake Charles is in the thick of it right now.
