You said a few responses earlier you “weren’t poor”. Sure doesn’t sound like it.
So you are cool with Canada fricking an American company just because? The Canadian gov is meddling to prevent sales of an American product and you whine like a bitch when our government reciprocates? What a pussy you must be

ETA: Saying this is not important is not whining like a bitch. Going off like you did is whining like a bitch.

He still doesn't understand how tariffs work does he? The company buying the aircraft would pay the tariff...
That can depend on the company and the customer. Most importantly it is supposed to penalize the sales of a foreign company in favor of an American company or raise revenue. If the company believes it can be paid and sell the product at price before tariffs it will pay. If it doesn’t and the customer believes it has to still buy that specific product the customer will then pay a premium for it while at least being more open to look elsewhere for future purchases. Some customers may not have a choice at first but to pay the higher prices, but I doubt that they do not start working the numbers on alternatives.
I prefer free and open markets with level playing field between countries including similar rules, taxes, & govt subsidies/support; but they don’t really exist anymore. Govt regulations/laws/taxes are all over everything, and it’s doesn’t always have equal effects inside their own markets much less outside of them. Tariffs should play a role in getting equal treatment or as close as possible for American companies in trade agreements and in protecting certain industries that affect our security, but they should not be used to protect American mediocracy for the long term which I don’t think is happening here or with most of Trumps tariffs. They all seem to be used to negotiate better deals.

I was pointing out something YOU said, directly contradicting yourself. Try to keep up.

No, but I do care about the American workers that are employed by gulfstream. I do care that the Canadian gov is directly involved in handicapping an American company to benefit their own, and our gov has stood idly by. Again, the entire point of this conversation. But your retarded arse is too worried about “trump rich” blah blah blah. Again, try to keep up

A bunch of good ole boys with trade school degrees from the local CC who are putting down payments on their forever homes so they can marry their HS sweethearts?
Or mostly immigrants and temp workers?

Who do you think is you projecting frick? Like any business that builds complex machines I’m assuming a fair amount of engineers, machinists, mechanics, along with layers of management and a sales team.
I doubt its just a bunch of illegals that came over from Juarez tightening bolts. God you are almost to stupid to talk to…

Stabbing myself in the eye repeatedly with a spork is better than flying on a CRJ 200.
I don’t like the repeated an wildly swinging threats against “insert nation here” from an economic POV, but I’m all for Canada finally paying the price for releasing the CRJ 200 “Canadian Torture Tube” on poor unsuspecting American citizens.
