The officers asked 10 or so times to drop the knife. Why didn't they?

"They" is a plural pronoun, the correct gender-neutral term is "it" but the snowflakes consider that crude because "it" can also mean inanimate objects.

This is the kind of bullshite that happens when people try to advocate transgenderism as being "okay" and "normal" instead of a mental illness.

I fully support and appreciate the efforts of the police department but I think this was a mistake. Training needs to be put in place for officers so that they are given the option to administer a non-lethal shot… like the leg. There was more than enough time in that video to put one in his thigh before the shot to the torso. He never seemed to fully charge either of the officers. you ever seen what a bullet will do tissue just shooting someone in the thigh, not to mention the whole femoral artery that run through there. The kid would have died a much slower and painful death.

A "multi-tool" with the blade not folded out is a "pair of pliers", if I had shot the guy in the same situation I would be indicted for at least manslaughter, and would have a hard time convincing a jury the pliers were a deadly weapon.

Same situation? Unless the guy was chasing you, you could've removed yourself from that situation. The cops cannot just run away. They have to confront the threat.
