There was an old adage that you don't discuss religion or politics in public. It's a wise old adage that predates social media.
I'll discuss it here, but in real life I keep most of my thoughts on those subjects locked up tight.

I finally spoke up and said that we shouldn't forget that Taylor and Floyd were criminals
I'm not even a SJW and I would lose a lot of respect for anyone who would say this out loud at work.
What kind of despicable crimes did Breonna Taylor commit? Can you name any?

I then went on to say that the police are put in a bad position daily due to the media,
Yeah, it's the media's fault they are incompetent. They shot at the guy 30+ times and not one bullet hit him. Breonna Taylor was shot 3 times instead. All for the war on drugs.
Is it really surprising that somebody would shoot when you knock their door down? I wonder how TD.com feels about the castle doctrine?
You're screwed.

You must have had a problem with understanding cause and effect in school.

When someone is using the names of criminals as heroes just ask them to name a single child killed in a drive by. Those are the real victims but don’t generate media attention so the virtue signalers pretend they don’t exist.

Its probably already been said, but I don’t believe you actually did this. It would really dumb to piss your job away with a comment that, while true, is not going to lead to anything positive.
Maybe you’re just dumb, I don’t know. But I have simply avoided anything related to any of this bullshite and my work. Not the Floyd Remembrance and Awareness webinar, none of it. Supadave gotta eat and George Floyd and all that BLM bullshite ain’t paying my bills.

1. Do you need the job?
2 Do you have to participate or just be on the call?
3. Call in from golf course, fake a computer issue, profit.

I foresee a PIP in your future with mandatory Critical Race Theory training.

How was breonna taylor a criminal??
Well she hadn’t been caught red-handed. Yet she was recorded talking to her” former boyfriend” on a jail phone conducting drug business. Additionally, she rented a car which was never returned. When the vehicle was found it just happened to have a dead body in it (a known acquaintance of the guy in the pokey)....so let’s not say she was completely innocent in the situation.

No shite. She works in supply chain as well. Y’all may know each other IRL

I’ve been getting several emails stating I needed to update my personal company wide information. Finally decided to click on the ‘Urgent’ email and it was wanting me to add my preferred pronoun to my work profile.

What the hell does this have to do with work?

I have the same question. Granted, I’ve not worked in Corporate America in 15 years, so maybe I’m missing something.
But why the fugg is Home Depot (and apparently every other company under the sun) putting time on calendar to discuss this shite? Is the Religion Roundtable coming up on Tuesday?
