anyone coming to the riots be sure to stop by my tent on Picardy Ave.. I will be selling strawberry lemonade, skittles, watermelon ice cream, hog maws, fried chicken livers, and commemorative basketballs to bounce around while you pillage.

they striking from work? As in unemployment?

There should be a lot of job openings soon.
Or is it racist to fire a black who doesnt show up for work on purpose if they are black?
#blackjobsmatter?
He was a good employee, dindu nuffin (except not go to work)
Also is it racist to fire a white person who doesn't go to work in support of this movement bc the movement is black?
Seems like asking if something is racist is racist. How can "talking" about racism constantly do anything but perpetuate racism with that mentality?
It just gets people worked up as there is a natural tendency for humans to support what serves their own interests (whether Louisiana vs Alabama, American vs European, black vs white).
Ex:
Americans wanting jobs to stay in America means, as Americans, they have a better chance at those jobs if they so choose. That makes those jobs not as likely in the foreign countries, so we are nationalist: black and white Americans vs potentially black and white foreigners (see not about race here, just self interest).
African Americans naturally want systems that mandate certain percentages of inclusion in things like colleges and workplaces bc it means they have a better chance at them if it's their desire. Doesn't mean they hate whites. And I'm not saying they are any less likely to be qualified, just they have a better chance at their goals.
Whites don't like these regulations based strictly off of percentages instead of performance standards bc it means they might not reach their goal even with higher or equal pre-requisites. Doesn't mean they hate blacks. An attempt at equal results vs equal opportunity can hurt more than help.
We all segregate ourselves into countless categories based off of countless situations. Any advantage either side of any debate can have they subconsciously support. Understanding and acting on those impulses is a different story.
If a black cop kills a white suspect black people will natural not be as cynical of the motives, as that "potential" motive isn't something that can harm them as they will never be a white suspect in that scenario. The reason the opposite gets so much attention attention is white guilt, it doesn't get the coverage. Just like there is a BET network but a white entertainment network would cause pandemonium. Hell they were boycotting the oscars while there is another award show that doesn't include white entertainment at all. There are countless other examples, but bc of the lack of equality in "racist" coverage and perception it seems like white people are the bad guys.
Acknowledging and working on this, instead of suppressing certain sides ability to speak their mind is the only way. We ignore the root of the issue which is more innocent than blind hate, and just throw blame around constantly. It's what we have in common (self interest) that makes us see each other as different, as "them"...
equal "opportunity" not equal results(current system) is an option could help. But even then any side that doesn't get their way subconsciously looks for reasons, and will find something to blame/compare: whether race, location, lifestyle, gender, you name it. And it could also gradually lead to less interaction naturally thus less understanding.
It's a hell of a predicament... probably why we've somewhat conquered living in the vacuum of outer space but still can't solve racial tensions. We just blow up tensions that are racial more so than all the other ones. We are humans, and there is a thing called human nature.
Maybe we should start by not bringing race details into every encounter, since we all live and work amongst each other. It just causes people to jump to conclusions without seeing the facts, on both sides. Media should say two police officers kill man. Not two "white" police offices kill "black" man.
But sadly anger = interest, interest = viewers, viewers = $, $ = everything.

Also, they clearly don't realize that they could be charged with counterfeiting since they have copied money on their posters. That's a federal offense.

Maybe, but ISIS, in solidarity with BLM, is threatening to turn off all ICEE machines that day.

No turkey legs at this riot. Did you get one at Ferguson? However, I have a limited supply of the following if you get here early.
2014 candy corn(expired but still edible)
