Birth control messes with her hormones too much. She's been on it several times to help with ovarian cysts, but they make her act all funny. I know, BBC, but she's more herself off of those. And an IUD wasn't recommended by her doc. If we decide soon that we're done with kids I'll go get snipped.

Well usually when a 7-8 lb baby comes barreling out of your vagina it sometimes does some damage. That or the doctor had to cut her to make room for the baby's head. Then he had to stitch her back up so that needs time to heal as well. Even if there was no tearing or slicing needed...she still needs time to heal up down there. And...she still has all kinda gunk leaking out of her vagina for several weeks after baby is born.
If someone sliced open your penis and then stitched it back together, would you want to have sex soon after?
