With the pain that I’ve shared with my wife through multiple miscarriages while trying to have our first child, it was a blessing to have a happy and healthy baby boy back in May.

When it negatively impacts others, then yes make it illegal. When it only impacts that individual, then no it should not be illegal.
The argument is when an unborn child is considered a separate individual, which is not the point of this thread.
The point is that making it harder to get abortions is not going to have any significant impact on reducing abortions.
People will just find a more, dangerous way to get what they want.

This is where the "let darwinism do it's thing" comment fits I guess.
Abortion does impact a society negative. First a girl shouldn't be pregnant, so that's an issue itself. Also, a nation needs a certain birth rate to survive, which the US is low, so killing off the nations "widget" while in production is not helpful.
Abortion has gotten crazy. So I guess pro-abortioners have to say they agree with late term abortions obama style, which is definitely sick.

This is an inaccurate thread title for the story presented, considering she is no longer pregnant and the baby survived birth. Maybe something like "Teen took drugs while pregnant in an attempt to kill baby" would be more accurate.
Anyway...the girl is 19 and already has a 5-year old. That's wonderful!
And I'm curious to see what the autopsy of the infant shows as to his cause of death. Baby was six weeks early, but went home within two weeks. Sounds like he was pretty strong at birth for a preemie. I expect new charges to be brought against her.
