Absolutely!!
While we are curing social injustices along these lines we should take a hard look at other similar facetious laws:
- change legal smoking/drinking age to "any" I mean the underage kids are going to do it anyway why have them fear legal repercussions
- Legalize meth, heroine etc. ( people are going to do it anyway why make them deal with street dealers unnecessarily)
- Make all prescription meds OTC, Why can't I decide how much Valium I want to mix with my Vicodin?
- Make paying taxes optional, People are going to engage in tax evasion whether it is legal or not so we should just abolish that law as well...
Preach on brother I think you are on to something.
or maybe just on something...
Change "burning" to "bleeding" for your s/n.

Regardless of pro life or pro choice, this 19 year old is a drug addict probably has more issues than getting pregnant. The baby is the least of her problems. I don’t understand how she doesn’t get an abortion which is legal ( regardless of views) but instead carry’s the child and kills it or try’s to. Go to any fire station, drop it off, walk away. Give the child a chance to find a good home.

Considering the DNA of that baby, I wouldn't want to adopt a problem. You can nurture all you can, but that brain chemistry inherited from both parents will always be there.

You don't have to be addicted to drugs to take them. Sounds like she took them for a specific purpose. Looks like she already has one child and being selfish she did not think that she had the wherewithal to take care of another, especially considering that her sig other will not want to raise a child that is not his.

And there is no doubt this young woman has serious mental health issues.
Sounds to me like she didn't want the inconvenience of raising a kid.

I agree with all three of these points.
You realize that in some countries, all of this is legal at any age... yet they have less addictions/use than people in the U.S.

No... now you're getting off track. Paying taxes affects other people, thus it needs to be required and enforced.
