What’s the point? All it’s doing is spreading bacteria and potentially other harmful items from table to table patron to patron. Prior to all this pandemic and rush to cleanliness, I’ve always had this question.

You wipe the table down with the same dirty dish rag table to table. And there is no wiping down of any of the condiments at the table between seatings.

Why?

Wouldn’t it make more sense to use a Clorox wipe or a paper towel after spraying the table with a disinfectant solution?

Another question: Shouldn’t, what was set forth above, be mandatory by a health department?

I think we are finally seeing how freaking nasty restaurants have been.

Wiping down tables and condiments at tables with Clorox wipes or other solutions should be and should have been mandatory.

The point is to remove any sticky residue off the table. Not to sterilize it

Where did these owners get their immunology degrees from again? Do they get this at culinary school?

Yeah I’m not looking for the local restaurant to be dictating what my immune system should or shouldn’t be exposed to.

It may be the same rag but I think most places have sanitizer buckets they are put into or spray the table down with some type of sanitizer before wiping.

Food prep is monitored for the health department.

So should table prep.

Nasty fricks taking a shite, not washing their hands, and then touching the condiments.

Wipe yours shite down.

Hope this new trend continues.

Holy shite we have turned into a nation of pussies. It’s a cleaning solution. Not a sterilizing solution. It’s to remove food residue, not kill anything.

it was never meant as a sanitation thing

it was simply to wipe off any sticky residue or crumbs off the table

Let me guess. You were the guy at the bar that was ok with the bartender placing a used glass in the “Magic”’solution bucket, then rinsing it out, and serving it to you? Nasty practice is nasty.

Wouldn’t a “cleaning solution” kill some bacteria? If not why not just use water?

Sure. But you don’t use the same dirty rag table to table.

Use your solution with a disposable paper towel.

Not rinse and repeat with the same towel.

You eat off a plate, not the table.

You would probably be in contact with more germs by opening the door of the restaurant than touching the condiments and table.

You do, literally, rinse and repeat. Rinse the tag in a sani bucket and repeat the table cleaning.

None. Don’t wear one.

Went to Home Depot, everyone masked up. Got some nasty looks.

Checked out in the self check out aisle. Picked up the scanner, that had been molested by every other patron, touched the key pad. Then sanitized my hands when the items were in my auto.

Then I realized the are idiots. They touch all of the scanners, screen, carts etc. then they get in their car and remove the mask with their dirty hands. Then they proceed to wipe their faces with their hands because the mask made them itchy or sweaty. They just wiped out one of the whole reasons for masking up in one fall swoop.

So maskers can eat a bag of dicks
