My wife and I did this.
I recommend it. The pastor who did it went through Ephesians 5 and discussed the husband and wife's role in marriage and steps for resolving conflict.

True story, the couple that led our marriage counseling class had just been married like under a year and she was pregnant. Just barely, but the whole class she was rubbing her stomach. I guess you had to be there, but we kept getting into group sessions and everyone would always talk about how awkward it was the chick talking about not having pre-marital sex was pregnant and trying to hide it.
The class I took was mostly what you'd expect from a church led class, some of the couples were fun though so it wasn't that bad.

We did ours with a couple who had been married for like 20 years. They were awesome and we enjoyed it.
