Man I'm praying for healing for your family, and more importantly that God lay His peace on you if the worst happens.

In the name of Jesus, (his name) is healed. According to Isaiah 53:5, "By his strips, he is healed"
"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
James 5:15-16(NIV)

If it's any consolation to you, the near exact thing happened to my father several years ago, and he came out of it just fine. Massive heart attack; mother did CPR; EMT's zapped him back to life once at home and then again at the hospital; did the cool down thing to limit brain damage.
When he woke up he said the last thing he remembered was laying back in his chair to take a nap, then woke up in the hospital. Doesn't remember anything in between, so no pain, etc.

interesting that the op only focuses on the physical issues. The clear presence of major spiritual sickness should be of far greater priority. Down votes will only be a manifestation of the same exact problem.

Thanks man that is reassuring to hear. I've been reading up on that and it's pretty fascinating stuff. From what I've read, it seems they have had pretty good success using the cool down technique.

Thanks man. I've never been though anything like this before. We were jamming on our guitars about an hour before without a care in the world, laughing at how I couldn't do this particular lick. Next thing I know hes unconscious on the floor. I just can't get that look on his face out of my head. His eyes were wide open like he was staring through me while I was doing cpr.

Im going on 30 hours without any sleep, so your post went right over my head. He is a Christian, saved last year if that's what our getting at. If god decides it his time, then I'm 100 percent certain he will be going to heaven. Call me selfish, but I'm not ready to let go yet. Downvote away.
