Prayers Needed

My mom and her boyfriend have been staying with me for a few months and recently gotten real close with him. Tonight he had a massive heart attack in the kitchen. I did cpr and the Emts worked on him for around 20 minutes and got a pulse. The look on his face while doing cpr is haunting me. His face was blue and eyes were open and buldging out. Anyways, He crashed again at the hospital, but they brought him back again. They did a heart cath and, he’s stable for now. They’re gonna cool his blood for 24 hours and slowly warm him back up. Hopefully there is little to no brain damage. We can use all the prayers we can get right now. my dad had stroke two weeks ago and is still in the hospital now. It’s been a fought two weeks.

Prayers sent, brother. Physicians and nurses perform miracles every day. The level of care people receive today is unmatched. Please keep us updated.

Yeah I sure will. It’s a miracle he even made it the hospital. I was 100 percent positive he was dead, but they said the cpr probably saved his life. Right now we’re just hoping there is little to no brain damage. I was able to get to him in minutes and EMTs were there within 5 minutes later.

Prayers sent and good on you for thinking on your feet. I've had CPR training, but sometimes that stuff is hard to remember in a moment of crisis, especially when it's a family member.
