Yeah until she will want to go to a clinic to figure out why she is not getting pregnant. Dude this will not work out well for you and doing this behind her back will likely backfire.

My husband’s doctor insisted that I be there for one of the appointments. No sneaky vasectomies allowed. I thought it was kind of weird that he examined him right in front of my face though.

My wife had to be present for the pre-op to confirm her consent face to face with the doctor and his nurse, but I don’t recall her being present for the physical exam.

Why not just tell her the truth? You don't want anymore children and you're going to take precautions. This will also keep her from taking BC, which is awful for her. Win/Win. If you deceive her, there will be a debt to pay.
