Brother she is the strongest woman I've ever known. She went to the podium during the services to read a scripture and encourage everyone in the gallery. It was the most moving thing I have ever seen with my own eyes. Here is a woman suffering the unimaginable and she's standing in front of a crowd giving words of encouragement in her second language. It was simply incredible.

Lean on each other, family & even the OT. Thoughts are with you both. *hugs*

Red, I know I am saying this all "matter of fact". Never lose the fact that I am so damned sorry for your loss.

I guess I'm confused. Was this negligence or a horrible accident? How could this happen?

I'm so sorry for this. I don't know how they're coping. I can't imagine. Praying that the family can find some peace. I haven't read this thread because I just don't think that I can.

Jesus man, I'm praying for you and your whole family, particularly your wife. I hope you find some answers and some peace.

Why the hell didn't I take him home right then?

You simply cannot dwell on this. You did what you thought best for the little fella, don't blame yourself as you do not have any certainty as to the cause of death.

Remain strong, your wife will need you.

Many Prayers sent.

Stick, it really breaks my heart all over again to read this. I am very glad that you and your wife have been able to start heal up a bit. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

I’ve thought of you, your wife, and your child often over the last few weeks. Still can not comprehend a young parent having to go through such a loss. Just know that God is watching over your little one now in a much better place.

Due to some loses in the family over the years I struggled at first to read the updates until tonight. You and your wife have been in prayers and thoughts and will continue.

Some of the posts mentioning your mom including your wife sending the picture of your son to her reminded me of similar situations with my mom and made me want to also check on your mom. Let her know we are thinking of her as well.

Like others have mentioned something doesn’t seem right with set up of the IV and the change to wanting to continue the IV at 4:30. I may have misread levels & replies about it, but after the nurse started to remove the IV with fluid in bag at 4:30 to release him before being stopped by Dr to continue IV & observe did bag empty faster than expected at the rate it was drilling at before 4:30?

I’m not familiar with all of the circumstances surrounding your situation, but I am deeply sorry for the loss that you and your wife must endure. I wish mere words were enough to improve your situation, but all I can do is inadequately express how much I wish this didn’t happen. I don’t really put much faith in prayer, but I pray for you and your wife. I only wish I could help you somehow.

All of these words by two. I can’t even remotely imagine the pain you guys are having to go through but I hope you guys can push through with as much comfort as possible.

I know you guys are in the area and I pray you don't need their services anytime soon. The people at Johnson funeral home are simply exceptional. Should you ever need their services I would be happy to direct you to the right people there.

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine what you have gone through and are going through. Don't put any blame on yourself...you did what any parents would do in the situation. I'm praying for yall.

I hurt for you. No parent should have to lay their baby in the ground. It’s unnatural.

I don’t know how you are keeping strong but if you ever need anything feel free to reach out.

I’m not going to wax poetic or anything. Words don’t do a damn bit of good.

The IVP could have been Glucagon? This medicine is only given with very low blood glucose levels.

I am not in any way trying to be combative, but want to give accurate information.

Glucagon is also given for beta blocker overdoses, which is where you will see it given intravenously. It is very rarely used IV for low blood glucose.

My deepest apologies if I caused any derailment. You've been in my prayers throughout, Redstick.
