I didn't grow up like that. I hug my friends when I see them, but I can't say I ever kiss them. That's strange to me. Especially when people do it the first time they meet you. It's too familiar for me, but it seems to be the norm here.

More of a southern, womanly thing...

I'll sure enough put a lip lock on you though.

I'm a great kisser, FWIW.

It's the men that initiate the kissing. When I first moved here, it happened like twice the first week. I went to work and asked WTH is with all the kissing? The girls laughed and just said that's how they do it here.

Very. I just give vague answers to the where do you live question and dodge the kisses. Otherwise, great place to live

We're doing ok when the women here only complain about having to 'kiss hello' occasionally.

But seriously, this place is infested with crime and traffic.

I agree. My cheeks are the only thing I worry about being violated.

SO and I went to dinner last night in Madisonville. It was crowded so I walked back to the car to make a phone call while he waited. We parked in the furthest spot and the parking lot was dark. My insticts kicked in and I started to walk back, but then I realized I was in Madisonville.

This is the most accurate post in this thread. There are definitely nice areas, but I've also driven through madisonville neighborhoods looking at potential houses and there are places with 10 mobile homes in a row next to a run-down neighborhood with a cookie cutter establishment in the other side. And there are no 10 minute runs to pick up a few groceries. You have to go to covington, which with no traffic is like 20 minutes away.

This is the most inaccurate comparison I've ever seen for the Woodlands. You must live in Conroe not the Woodlands. The worst cookie cutter neighborhoods in the Woodlands are a 1000 times better than the nicest shite in St. Tammany period. I know I lived in both. Schools, quality of living, things to do, convenience, city with a town feel, and virtually little to no crime and a heavy police force in the Woodlands are like heaven compared to any nice place in St.Tammany Parish. What you just said is asinine dude.

Stupid poor count lives in Texicano, posts his shite-licking drivel in a Praireiville vs Covington/Mandeville thread. Cries like whored-out mother when called on it. Two-time loser count DNA. Just STFU.
