That I can for sure believe… funny my side of Essen lane is out, the other side of Essen lane which is St. George is still on.

I feel like I’m getting shafted here. Lol

With all of the construction going on at that spot with the Interstate ramp I wouldn't be surprised if it was something related to that...

okay, just found this:

WAFB: Power outage reported for more than 2,000 customers after car crashes into pole

More than 2,000 people are without power in East Baton Rouge Parish after a vehicle crashed into a pole Monday night, June 2.

According to a spokesperson for Entergy, the crash happened along Jefferson Highway. The outage is impacting people in neighborhoods along Jefferson Highway south of Old Hammond Highway.

The spokesperson said that crews are at the site right now and are working to make repairs as quickly as possible.

The Entergy outage website said the estimated outage restoration time is 11:30 p.m.

There is a terrible car accident right in front of Bocage entrance. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a fatality. Somehow there appeared to be something up high in an electrical line. Not good.

The power isn’t outrageous, the game at the Box is an outrage.

Must be one of those solar flares which are known to collide with transformers or it could be a squirrel playing on the wires.
