This is the definition of racism, no where does it state anything about power. The definition the guy is talking about is what Sociology majors hijacked

Because people think and behave according to their race, right? How about we just accept that human beings are individuals and not part of some racial collective, and treat them accordingly. You know, like Dr. MLK Jr. admonished us to...

The key word on all this is action. Those people of color in power have never created any laws or pursued any ACTION to deprive any non person of color. Is there any reading comprehension on this site at all. Sure they can be bigoted all they want, but until those prejudices and bigotry cause the person in power to take ACTION to deprive those under them, then it is not racism

Racism has absolutely NOTHING to do with power. People may perceive this to be true, but it is not.

Racism is a specific type of bigotry. It is bigotry based simply on Race. Sexism, likewise is bigotry based simply on the sex of an individual.

People may think they can change the meaning of words to suit their agendas, but they cannot, not if they rest of the world refuses to let them do it.

Exactly. The treatment of white farmers in Zimbabwe by the black government was racist (as what the treatment of blacks under the white dominated government of Rhodesia).

Again the definition of racism does not involve power at all. So yes anyone can be racist.

Not really. He is definitely prejudice, and most likely a bigot, but I bet he isnt a racist.

Here is the actual definition of racist:

a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.

A very easily disprovable assertion. Blacks victimize non-whites all the time. Every day. Blacks also govern. My city is majority black and has a black mayor. Blacks run the school board and make decisions about my kids all the time. The President is black and makes federal decisions that effect me. My healthcare cost has gone from $431 a month to $1275 a month and the quality of said care has declined. Are those not actions?

I would agree that the Black Panther Party is a racist organization.

I think it fits the definition of power + prejudice + action.

If a black supervisor fired a white employee because she was white, it would be racism.

If the same supervisor called the white employee an ethnic slur, it would be bigotry.

The definition is not designed to foster a "only whites can be racist" dogma. It is simply that whites have most of the opportunities to be racist.

Racism in America is just the Marxist assumption in the form of a professional Grievance Industry that assumes human beings belong to tribes, and that the State must intervene of the behalf of one tribe and against another. It is divisive by design. Liberalism gets to pick winners and losers according to race, and The State enforces it through coercion.

Nope. He may have fired her because he hates white people. Which isnt racist.

Racism is such a simple definition but nobody seems to know it

One could say they hate all black/white people and hope they all die

That person still might not be a racist
