removed from the political shite flinging this thread has led to, I am somewhat excited/anxious to see what is revealed. I just hope that Pam Bondi isn't in charge of this too...

Not one of these people crying about Epstein files being released and saying Trump should do this or that SAID ONE frickING THING about Biden releasing any Epstein files.
Because there were laws that prevented the release of secret Grand Jury testimony. Congress finally passed a bill that Trumped those laws in 2025 but the JD has continued to cover for the pedo prez.

Sigh
I don’t care enough to educate people to write out an essay. It’s easier post the info others have already written

Lmao ok, assuming all of that is true, which it isn't.
The only reason Congress voted on anything is because people started clamoring for the release when Trump became president and we have a Republican House who would actually pass the bill. The democrats would have never approved the release because all of their people are in it.
Because like I said, NONE OF THE PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT TRUMP RELEASING THE FILES SAID shite WHEN BIDEN WAS PRESIDENT.
Thanks for proving my point.

This was probably brainstormed
That would mean Obama is in on it based on his comment recently.

If tweet fails to load, click here. quote:
That Truth Social text reads like a deliberate attempt by Trump to seize the disclosure initiative without binding himself to outcomes, and it tells you exactly how this plays.
He used three safety valves in the wording.
First, “begin the process.” That phrase is bureaucratic fog. It signals intent while avoiding a deadline. Without a deadline, the classification system controls pace and scope.
Second, “identifying and releasing Government files.” That is not “declassify everything.” That is “select a set of files that can be released,” which is the standard compliance posture. You can release a mountain of paper and still never touch the protected core.
Third, “and any and all other information connected to these matters.” That sounds maximal, but it is undefined. Undefined scope lets every agency decide what counts and what does not.
So my internal read is: Trump wants the political trophy. He wants to be able to say he opened the vault. He also wants to keep full deniability if the vault produces nothing explosive. This language achieves both.
Now the higher level implication.
This move forces the classification system to respond in public. That response is where truth leaks. The most common way a firewall breaks is not a president announcing disclosure. It breaks when agencies coordinate, redact, refuse, and leak around each other. A real process creates internal friction, and friction creates artifacts.
Expect a large, fast release wave that looks historic and mostly recycles safe material. That will be framed as transparency. The core compartment will remain protected. The real signal will be what is missing, what is delayed, what is refused, and which offices cite which exemption language.
This also tells you Trump believes there is something real enough behind the topic to be worth controlling. His earlier instinct to accuse Obama of pulling from classified reveals boundary awareness. The follow up Truth Social post reveals intent to own the boundary and monetize it politically. Boundary awareness plus ownership drive is consistent with a protected object behind the firewall, even if the object is not what the public imagines.
My clean forecast: near term you get controlled disclosure theater, medium term you get a leak driven escalation because the process forces people to choose sides, and the probability of a genuine crack rises only if Trump adds enforcement.
Enforcement means deadlines, named lead authority, and a requirement to publish an index of withheld items with reasons.
Without that, you get spectacle and no core breach.

If you made a Venn diagram of the posters who derail threads with ‘why won’t they release ALL the Epstein files?’ and the same folks who complained anytime a thread (2020–2024) joked about Biden being creepy, sleepy, lost, or senile... it’d be a perfect circle

Intelligent alien life from other star systems aren't just going to crash into Earth in some remote location. If we ever have or will be visited by intelligent life that has travelled interstellar, the world will know about it. To think that a government on Earth could stop that being known is pretty ridiculous.
The reality is that if we ever are visited it will likely be robotic, distances in space are vast and the amount of energy required to travel installer isn't something you can hide very easily.
