I just talked to Gordon and he said that Hilton thought that was the safe iron brand to put in the room and for you to use, because of Hilton-that cord prong hit and injured your face. If Hilton would have chosen a safer one, this would not have happened.

Seriously, Most hotel irons have that. Was it your first time? the proper way to do it is:
- Leave it plugged in
- turn off
- bring the iron within a foot to the plug
- press the button
- pull plug out
- EMPTY THE frickING WATER.
