Our brother and sister cat last night. Looks like they’re getting clipped on Monday.

edit: not sure why it's sideways.

People that hate cats are either allergic, insecure in their sexuality, or never had one that was their own cat. A cats not a slut like a dog. A dog will let anyone pet it, rub it’s belly, etc. A cat has to trust you first. They’re solitary animals, not social as dogs. Once they realize that you’re fully on their side, and make the decision that you’re not going to hurt it, they change completely. That may take awhile, depending on the cat. If you come to my house, my cat runs behind the couch. But when I get home, it’s waiting for me by the front door, follows me around everywhere, in every room of the house. Lays next to me when I read at night, then goes to its own bed when I turn out the light. I never have to tape him outside in the cold or the rain. Neve have to leave a party early to let the cat out. When I go back to BR for a long weekend, I have a girl that comes by and feeds him once. That’s it. No kenneling, none of that. Cats also don’t need to go to the vet every time they eat a sock or whatever like dogs do. Just a better pet for someone that doesn’t want a lot of responsibility but wants a companion.

My tuxedo looks like this, but only has white "boots" on her left paws and has some white on the left side of her nose as well.

Former outside cat that adopted us about 10 years ago. Sweet as could be but tough as nails. Chased dogs and scrapped with the best of them. We estimate she's 11 years old.

When we moved, we took her with us and brought her inside (shots, fixed and declawed). Has been great cat. Plays fetch and nestles in next to me wherever I sit. Definitely my cat.

This is one of the daughters of our tuxedo (9 years old). Moved with us as well. Very sweet cat, but very skittish. Was my son's cat before he moved out (she would sleep with him and sleep on his bed when he was not here [still does that sometimes]).

She's gotten more personable and sociable since out 19 y/o Tonkinese passed away last year .

This was Toad. She earned her name because she sat around like a fat toad. She would plop herself in front of us like this all the time. If it was Thanksgiving, she plopped on the floor in the kitchen. If it was family game night, she plopped on the board game. She would sit in the window and wait for me to come home every day. And as soon as I got settled and sat in my chair, she was in my lap.

Toad was with us for 17 years before we had to put her down in 2012. She was a great companion.
