Post your BEST customer service experiences

So we always hear about the nightmares, but what are some of the best experiences you've had with a company's customer service department. I've got two:
1. My mom recently started chemo (effing cancer), and before she started she wanted to get these warm boots because someone told her that the hospital was very cool and her feet get cold easily. I've always told her about Zappos but she never did it cause she's old-school about buying shoes in-person.
Anyways, she found this pair she liked and before she ordered she called the customer service place to make sure they would be delivered the next day as the website said. When the lady said they would, my mom (who's a very talkative person) made some remark like "wow that is incredible, I have my chemo starting the day after tomorrow and I never thought they would get here in time, but now I get to wear them during my chemo to keep my feet warm, blah blah blah".
Well, she hangs-up all excited about her boots, and when the package arrives the next day, in addition to the boots they'd included this very comfortable, warm, heavy blanket with a note about staying warm and beating cancer. It made my mom's month. She's basically a pseudo-spokesperson for them nowadays, tells that story to people she barely even knows
.
2. I fly regularly on one major airport (basically once a week in and out of the same hub). The other week I realized I forgot the book I was reading in the seat pocket and didn't notice until I got home. I basically assumed it was gone for good, but when I got to the lounge today, upon checking in, the supervisor of the lounge came by and asked if the book was mine. I was stunned and he said they found it, looked up the seat it was in, saw I was a regular flier out of that hub and knew I'd be in the lounge soon so they held onto it. It was an awesome surprise.
Any other good ones?

Bought a TCL 60' and the screen's colors started becoming distorted....after 1 phone call and a couple of pics they sent me a brand new one and picked up the old and this was after the one year warranty was up. Also sent 2 new remotes.
Couldn't believe how easy they made it.

Noveltylights.com is a Website I ordered Christmas lights from this year. The boxes of lights etc. came in as scheduled during the week so on Friday after work I opened them up so I could get things lined up for early Saturday morning to hang them. Turns out one of the bags of plug connectors weren’t in the boxes. I sent an email to the email order confirmation at 5:15pm on a Friday and I get an immediate response saying I would have my parts by 11am in the morning and sure enough I did along with a note saying they didn’t want to ruin my plan of hanging lights over the weekend. Answering the email at 5:15 on a Friday was cool, and then fedexing them overnight at no charge was big time.

Have an upvote. I was implying that it was not just a cheap return.

Kwikset. The lock on my front door broke. Got in contact with them, sent them a couple pics, and they sent me a brand new set-up to replace mine. Not a cheap one either, valued at around $170 in the stores.

1. I was a junior developer for a company that had a paid subscription to the highest tier of Microsoft's phone support line. I needed to ask some questions about a specific C++ library and got my manager's approval to do a support call (it was fairly expensive).
I called the number and a woman on the other end picked up after one ring. I said "I'm trying to understand the function named whatever()" and stated my question. She said "I'll connect you with blah blah, he is the person who wrote it last year" and within a minute I was speaking with the developer who wrote the damn thing. He was very helpful and gave me a couple of points to watch out for.
2. Also as a junior developer (though at a different company) I was trying to get Adobe Acrobat to work with a document scanner that was somewhat rare and obsolete. So I called Adobe for help. They told me that the scanner wasn't really supported but would get back to me later that day with a solution.
They sent someone out to the local Fry's to find an identical copy of that same old scanner, bought it, and developed a fix that they emailed to me by COB.

American Standard toilet...wife wanted their touch free flush toilet. I get it installed and there is a constant leak. Try the trouble shooting tips to no avail so i call them and they immediately send a new part. I install it and within a few weeks more leaks. I call again and the customer contact agent sends me a brand new tank. No leaks since. I was impressed that she was able to immediately (without having to get approval ) get such a large part sent out.

1. One on my jobs during my college years was at a recording studio; an actual studio, not someones garage with a mbox and a few mics with a pop filter, this place had well over a million dollars worth of equipment. Anyway, the main mixing room had 6 LG monitors, one of them broke. When the owner called about getting it replaced LG informed him they no longer made that particular screen. He made a passing comment about having to buy 6 new monitors and the rep transferred his call shortly after. Next thing you know the person to whom he was transferred is letting him know LG would be sending him 6 new monitors and he just needed to send the old ones back once they arrived.
2. I started having problems with my Ampeg SVT amp and their customer service was shite so I decided to buy a new amp from a different company. I had questions about a new amp from Mesa so I called their customer service line. An actual person answered, took a message, and said someone would call me back before the end of the day. A few hours later I get a call from a guy who helped design/build that particular amp who not only answered all of my questions but was very informative about other amps and even helped diagnose the issue I was having with the SVT. Bought the Mesa that day.
3. Anytime I'm in Disney or even just a Disney store, those people are amazing.

Duluth Trading is awesome.
I gave Allen Edmonds' customer service ample reason to be frustrated with me, and instead they made sure I was happy with their products.

Kamado Joe - Replaced my fire box for free even though it was probably my fault for getting it too hot
. Also sent me new heat deflectors when I asked "how long should they last".
Doc Martens - Bought some boots and the sole started to separate after about a month. Sent me not one but two new pairs.

We were late getting into JFK from Europe and a Delta gate agent took pity on us and escorted us thru the airport using shortcuts not used by public to try to get us to our connection. She went way above what she needed to do. Missed flight by 5 minutes but she fixed us up with another flight and then took us to that gate. She was on the radio the whole time trying to get them to hold the plane.

Grainier is what every other company should want to be when it comes to customer service

I won’t go into details because I fear someone will try to use this to scam a company into getting a new tv.
Few years back Sony replaced my 5 year old 52 inch rear projection (I think anyway) with an internet ready 56 in flat screen. Had it shipped direct from the factory. Even refunded the cost of the tv repair bill I had just paid.
