We shouldn't have unemployment. We should only have disability. Anyone able to work who isn't should be forced to work for the government digging ditches.

I hate paying more in taxes to support grown adults who are lazy fricks.

1. If Jesus existed, he’s dead.

2. Trump doesn’t care about the everyday American except for the purpose of kissing his arse.

Then you must not have had original Cane’s in the late 90s/early 00s. The fingers were huge and the sauce containers were twice the current size.

This is more unlikely than unpopular.

90s grunge was the best era of music ever. Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam are the pinnacle of rock.

Full-time tuition for one semester at: -UT-Austin $5,724 -Texas A&M $6,049 -Baylor $25,869 -Tarleton $5,156 -Texas State $5,617 -Angelo State $4,505 The difference between Texas State and UT-Austin is $107 but it’s good to see you’re drawing the line somewhere.

Dollars to donuts, the fees and housing at A&M/Texas is exponentially higher.

quote:

The total tuition and living expense budget for in-state Texas residents to go to Angelo State is $22,017 for the 2020/2021 academic year. Out-of-state students who don't have Texas residence can expect a one year cost of $31,833

And regarding theology

quote:

Also odd that you’d consider spending so much for a theology degree from Baylor which certainly will not pay off. Only the select and charismatic few become megachurch pastors or televangelists, after all….

I was being a bit facetious. I’m simply saying unless their degree is unique or highly specialized there’s no reason to go to one of those.

I wouldn’t pay for my kids to go to Baylor’s seminary as it’s incredibly heretical at this point.

OU will be Missouri in the SEC and want to leave in 5 years.

Texas at least has some geographic advantages. OU has nothing over Arkansas

I doubt they will want to leave because they will be getting a lot more money in the SEC than any other conference.

Nurses, first responders and teachers are not hero’s as a result of their occupation. Come at me.

OU has eight national championships since 1950. Missouri none. Poor example.

They'll compete for titles, don't delude yourself into thinking otherwise.

It will be interesting to see how they do the divisions. I read that they might do away with the divisions which would suck.

With that said, could the SEC ever get 3 teams in the playoffs?

Yup - always has been. My dad’s degrees are from A&M, and my siblings and I could’ve gone there tuition free bc if the legacy scholarship they used to have

But after seeing room & board my dad was like - hell no - stay home (plus my brother & I had TOPS since we lived in Louisiana)

I had some scholarships from A&M and 0 to Angelo State.

Angelo State was still cheaper.

My penis unfortunately kept me at ASU.
