Primes are real nice. We went kind of cheap. So I have four T5 bulbs with a cheap Current USA LED strip for sun up/sun down and accent lighting.

If your sps are growing you are doing something right

If I did it again I might skip the sand. It sure how I feel about it.

Tank looks great well maintained - water source? I was buying it from local fish store - that was painful. If I did it again I would need a process / RP/DI

Thanks.

When we first set the tank up, I got a RODI system from BRS and hung it in our mop closet. It makes life a lot easier than having to go to a LFS. Especially considering a lot of those places have been closing down lately.

Nice Barney. Rocking a 13 gallon here with an AI Prime. Wife is looking at 75-125 gallons currently.

Yall looking for an all in one, or a traditional drilled with a sump?

I don’t know about that. This crap is pricey lol. I prefer the all in one style.

Check Facebook Marketplace. You'd be surprised the amount of like-new used items are on there. People spend a mint on this stuff, realize rather quickly that it isn't for them, then sell the stuff.

this literally describes the majority of the racing bicycles i bought back in the day. easy to spend $5k on a bicycle and then realize you don't actually enjoy riding it.

Hopefully it doesn't get tainted lol

But 5 - 5 gallon buckets every week or two was a grind

Its a fairly self contained system. I suppose chemicals could get on the feed line, but I keep those tucked up and out of the way when not in use.
