A LEO website that I belong to says two officers killed and one critically wounded. The home is full of ammo and it’s cooking off in the fire.

The way the laws protect tenants even beyond reason are likely why this shitbag was in the guys house and now may have killed the landlord. I just went through it with scumbags and it took 2 months to get them out and supposedly that was “fast”. Wouldn’t surprise me if the landlord had to put up with this guy and couldn’t get him out.

Terrible news.

Is it Diamond Head that has the trail to goes almost straight up following old rail tracks?

Oops, just looked it up, Ko Ko Head is the one I'm thinking of.

Just checked out Hibiscus Dr on Google Maps and it looks like a street with some large and nice homes.

It’s a good area considering. Tons of homeless around there, including that park a block away. The north end of Diamond Head has some shanty looking houses.

That area is super nice and has some historical homes as well. It's now 7 houses that are totaled. Yes, there's sketch in some places because the park is nearby, but overall most of those homes are beautiful. It's terrible thinking about something happening a few houses down and then by the end of the day you lose all your stuff.

I read that the guy had some mental issues, including delusions of the government following him.

The guy is an illegal alien from the Czech Republic who is a known mental nut job with a long history. He also had illegally obtained weapons. The eviction was just the spark that lit the match.

There’s 2 confirmed, the 2 cops. It is believed the loon is dead in the burned house. The landlord and other tenant survived. There is 1 lady missing so at most it will be 4 people. Still absolutely awful.
