Not reading all this shite but we like to rail on Slidell bc it’s a tad worse compared to the utopian northshore, but it’s fine.

Slidell sucks. You have the usual dumb Louisiana swamp people. Then because of Katrina, people from nola east and rednecks from Mississippi moved there and work all around.
I would rather commute if I had to work there and did.

Covington, Mandeville or Madisonville.
Slidell is a dumpster.
Seems like 40-60% of the business' are shut down...empty buildings everywhere.
Really should drive around slidell, then Hwy 1021 in Covington and you make your decision from there.
No comparison..

Those are the drawbacks.
The good thing is that the average IQ of the city you are leaving AND the city of Slidell will both go up after you move.

Agreed. I don’t know why Chalmations catch so much flak. Everyone I’ve met from there has been super nice.

They are going to be major assholes after they figure out that the the Demonym for Chalmette is Chalmation.
