I just think a lot of people need to turn off the tv and get out more. I love visiting family in the San Fran area
And the friends o have there are very nice successful people that are liberal. We manage to have a great time together despite political differences. This may seem crazy but we don’t even talk about it :

Portland is easily the best city I've ever lived in - demographics are fantastic out here. Beats the hell out of NOLA Chicago Minneapolis and Milwaukee. Weather is fantastic, best Pinots in the Western hemisphere 20 minutes away, world class beaches and coast 1.5 hours away, mountains and nature all around you.
