I love me some CFA but their biscuits are dry as dogshit.
Popeye's CAN be the best, when done right. Unfortunately, that is about 5% of the time.

Our Popeyes finally got the chicken sammiches. Tried the regular, good. Then the spice, out of this world. The pickles weren't that big on my sammich. Never have had the Chick Fi Lay sandwich so nothing really to compare it too.

Popeye’s is basically black Chick-Fil-A. Bojangles is great for a tailgate or breakfast platter. Don’t get their green beans though. Unless you want Maalox in vegetable form.

I agree that mayonnaise is nasty, but i tried the Popeyes chicken sandwich the other day (two of them actually) and just asked for no mayo, but i got ranch dipping sauce to put on them instead and they tasted great.
