Its pretty comical listening to these people act as if they were never kids before a day in their life, and that this is some kind of new epidemic or whatever.

Seriously, what else would you expect young people to do in a city with such little to do? I’m not condoning it mind you, but I am also not the least bit surprised that this is a thing. Ive never been surprised in any decade Ive lived in. It’s what young people do, especially today with super fast cars, more so than ever before, and in light of the popularity of it in shows like Street Outlaws and those like it.

What the Rouge needs to do perhaps is designate a place where it’s easier for these young people to meet and drag at their own risk or whatever, and get them away from neighborhoods and businesses. They’re going to do it. So, why not mitigate the problems associated with drag racing by giving them an area to do it?

They regularly have street nights at both places were it’s open to any street legal car and it’s like $40 to enter your car

Not sure what regular is according to their website. It looks like they have a couple of events posted for the year, and that may have something to do with updating the calendar or whatever, but it doesnt look like it’s all that regular.

Test and tune nights at NPR and SCR are normally every weekend or every other weekend. Really no excuse to drag race on the streets.

I never said it would. Just saying there is really no good reason to do it when the tracks are there. I know it won’t ever stop.

Not do something stupid that puts other people at risk.

I suppose the answer to that is them, but it begs the question who they’re going to learn that from? YOU?

We used to race off Wooddale Court or Dallas Drive. Had a big group of muscle cars around town and they were fun to watch.

Friend had this 1970 Grand National with a 429 Cobra Jet and this Mother fricker would fly.

If you cant do something legal and safe to do in a town the size of BR, that's on you, not the city. It's not the world's responsibility to entertain you. There are kids in NYC right now bitching about being bored. It's what kids do.
