Police kill man, leads to riot.

Police are the victims, and should abandon their duties because it's unfair they are getting anger directed at them.

So if an individual of a group commits an offense on a member of a different group then violence against that group is justified?

Holy hell this is gonna be a free for all.

They won’t do that because they know people will realize that it’s better without them

What we should do is have better police training and pay so fricking thugs won’t get in and kill innocent people.

You mean like the corrupt machines that completely run cities like Minneapolis have promised for FIFTY YEARS?

Make it easier to fire those that abuse their power, increase training, better background checks, incentivize/encorage cops to turn report their shitty coworkers, require a higher level of education, etc. Really, it has to start with the departments themselves. They have to make a stand and get rid of the ones that have no business being on the force.

End qualified immunity.

Libertarians have been beating that drum for decades.

Minneapolis has a huge police problem. Three highly publicized cases in the last 5 years.

Yet the 12 Democrats and one Green Party member of the Council which is responsible for the department and hires the chief elevated a career leader in the department rather than go outside for someone to reform it and have made no other changes to reform them.

Yet instead, liberal/black America has decided to take the approach of blaming ALL cops for the actions of few, driving more out, keeping more good cops from even applying in the first place, and leading to even shittier candidates getting employed.

As opposed to us conservatives who constantly parrot that there’s more good cops than bad cops in order to justify the unjustifiable? Good cops don’t turn a blind eye and yet that’s exactly what the thin blue lines promotes to protect the brotherhood.

There are a lot of us conservatives who have opened their eyes after seeing the gross abuse of authority against citizens of every race and our views about police have done a 180. I started paying attn when local police began adopting militant policies & escalating problems instead of helping those who call them. Thank God there are more & more conservatives starting to speak out but it’s sad that it’s taking others who have had to either experience it themselves or someone they care about before they realize the monster we’ve created.

Amazing or not, please explain. Is one life worth more than another? Serious question. Is Mr Floyd's life worth more than the child in Chicago that got killed in a drive by? I really want to know, so please help me.

Safer than lawn care? WTF, lmao.

Work place fatalities

Lawn care
Fatal injury rate (per 100,000 workers): 20.2

Law Enforcement
Fatal injury rate (per 100,000 workers): 13.7

So like I said. Safer than lawn care.

They’ve been ordered to not respond by gutless mayors and police chiefs. I’m sure they would prefer to protect and serve. Either let them do their jobs (that tax payers pay them to do) or let them go home.

Maybe it's not just about this one incident, but the unusually high amount of similar incidents culminating into this eruption of a populace that, quite frankly, has had enough.

Only my people can kill me! No cops!

Seriously, what happened to Floyd was awful and that cop is going to jail. A black man literally has a better chance of being struck by lightning than being killed by a cop.

“Someone who looks similar to you kills someone 2000 miles away from you.

Idiot paid protestors attack you savagely because someone you’ve never met did something shitty.

You don’t have the right to complain because he looked like you.”

Sound logic. fricking idiot

Not showing up looking for a fight? If you're protesting a cop killing someone or police brutality, and the cops show up wearing helmets, shields, batons, guns, etc., how do you expect the people to react?
Wait, how does this even make fricking sense?

Do you think there were riot police chilling out in the middle of Minneapolis which set off the sudden wave of rioting? No, these were savages who finally decided to go off, and riot police took fricking days to show up and do something because MN leadership went with a super hands-off approach, going as far as asking nicely on social media for the people to go home, which ended exactly as predicted. The same MN leadership has since apologized for their stupidity, and pulled a 180 basically, but tough shite for the people who already had their businesses razed.

Floyd's death was unjustified, but any, and I mean fricking ANY defense of the rioters is complete nonsense. If this was about justice, they could target exclusively police stations etc which still would NOT be justified and indefensible, but at least it would make some sense as to their goal. Looting Autozone?

Welcome to 2020 everyone.

I don't give a frick about race.

This is about police brutality and the fact that they are constantly allowed to get away with it.

They are given protections from punishment that we, the public, are not allowed.

He was arrested, yes, but trust me on this: he will not be prosecuted the same as I would be. And his sentencing, if given, will be much lighter.

See the cop who got only 12 years in Minneapolis for shooting a white woman who called for his help.
