That's true, but it's also one of the few areas where organized churches presently have some value.

Seriously Catholics what do we do about this? The Church is chock-a-block full of homosexuals. How are we supposed to cope with this?

the Episcopal Church, etc. have plenty of individuals in prominent roles, who, if honest, would admit they don't believe the core tenets of Christianity at all.

This intrigues me. Why Episcopal? Is it because of gays?

You sir, are wrong. Lutherans partake in confirmation, though it is not considered a "sacrament" (I think the only two sacraments in the Lutheran religion are baptism and communion).

Depends on what you're asking. Why do I think believe it to be so? Why do I think this is happening, etc.?

Episcopalian churches are increasingly progressive in America. I dare say they're probably the most attractive entity for an SJW who wants to use the church as cover for political advocacy.

Episcopalians are, at least in my area, probably the least "religious" crowd of any denomination. That said, it's also not a particularly SJW crowd.

ETA: socially indifferent, if anything.

I don't know much about the Catholic Church, but what I do know is it is one of the top 3 corrupt organizations ever

I think that's fair with regard to congregants, at least in my personal experience. I know several political/business types who are Episcopalian, almost as if it is considered a neutral faith to check the box of religious participation in the South.

But, at the clergy level, I'm aware (admittedly don't know) of several folks in my broader circle who are part of the Episcopalian church or training to be, and who seemingly devote 100% of their work to political causes, all under the label of the church. Pride parades, thinly-veiled Democratic causes (race/sexuality orgs), etc.

I don't find liberal advocacy and the church to be mutually exclusive at all (even if I don't really understand it). But when I can follow your online postings and blog and whatnot for weeks and weeks and none of the topics ever relate to following Christ, living a Godly life, etc. - something is wrong.
