I imagine the fire chief probably would have been fine with that, if it was actually possible, especially since that officer hits like a bitch. But he had enough sense to realize that if he fought back, he could have been at best in jail for assaulting a police officer and at worst shot dead.

If they were both in civies and on their own time I would have no problem with it.

What in the holy frick? I can say that I have never seen an on duty uniformed officer hit someone and then walk off. That’s just bizarre.
