Taking a nap with a 3 and 4 year old. He might not have meant to but he's responsible from neglect. Neglect Homicide or something

That article does make it seem like first video at least didn't see them removed from truck and then another video saw them get in by themselves.
Were kids seen in truck first time or they assumed at first that's when they were first left in truck but maybe he left them alone at house?

Tasks done routinely without much thought are often not specifically remembered. If I came home and my front door were closed but not locked, for example, I would figure that I just absentmindedly got distracted and forgot to lock it. If someone were to say "you didn't lock the door," I'd probably agree with them. It's not like I'd have some vivid recollection of locking (or not locking) the door. It's something that's done without thought, and I guess letting kids out of a car could be similar.

Yeah, all my exterior-door door knobs have child-proof covers on them. And I set the house alarm to stay if I feel like I'm dozing. That said, I've got the benefit of a 12 and 8-year old to help out and a wife doing her part, too.
This is just a sad, sad story.

Can you imagine if your job was to repeatedly deal with scum and the horrors of dead kids? I’m sure these cops weren’t thinking “haha, let’s frame this poor frick”. They thought he was negligent. Occam’s razor tends to lean that way. They went with their instincts. It sucks that humans are so imperfect. Doesn’t make them terrible humans.

How do police convince you to admit you did this? I agree you shouldn’t talk to cops without a lawyer, but I am confused how someone can be convinced to admitting they did something like this.
