And their report said he admitted to it....now he's been released after neighbors video shows the children got into the vehicle on their own.
Very interesting story
This is why you dont talk to the police especially when you are emotionally distraught, they convinced him he did this.

This is why qualified immunity must go and we need actual reform.
And the end of the day your freedom may be in the hands of low IQ government employees and in this case dumb rednecks.

UPDATE: The Tulsa District Attorney’s Office has released a father from custody after surveillance video confirmed that the children climbed a truck on their own, KOTV reports.
Detectives say footage from a neighbors home showed children Tegan and Ryan Dennis climb into the truck themselves, but were unable to get out. They died after five hours inside on Sunday.

How do police convince you to admit you did this? I agree you shouldn’t talk to cops without a lawyer, but I am confused how someone can be convinced to admitting they did something like this.

Can you imagine how distraught you are knowing your kids are dead?? We have evidence of literally thousands of false confessions, these cops are scum and should be beat to death with a rubber hose

Loaded questioning over the span of several hours in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable environment with the intent to create an open and shut case. It's a tale as old as time when talking about the blue thugs.

How do you let a 3 and 4 year old go unaccounted for for 5+ hours?

In this thread: a few people who don't read before commenting and ask questions that are easily answered by reading the linked article
AND
a few people who act like they never took a nap and let their kids out of their sight for a few hours.

I guess I'm one who didn't take a nap for "few hours" and left his 3 or 4 year old unattended.

you can't leave a 3 and 4 year old alone for 5 hours. that is, at minimum, neglect

So basically the guy was let go when video surfaced exonerating him and no charges were filed.
Your title is shite.
Your title is shite.

And 5 hours in the middle of the day isn’t a nap; that’s called “passing out”

I dunno know. Have you ever tried to keep up with two kids under five? It is exhausting

Plus my kids would be in my bedroom every 45 seconds to tattle on each other, how the hell was he left alone for 5 hours?

Not a 3 and 4 year old.
Naps are not a luxury when you’ve got kids that young unless you’re taking one with them and have some sort of way to know if they wake up and leave the room (as if they wouldn’t wake you up too the moment they opened their eyes)
