An interesting hypothetical would be if someone was conceal carrying inside of that theatre and would have shot and killed him. I personally believe that would have been justifiable. How many times has a muslim stood up and started shouting that in an extremely isolated, vulnerable, and public place and not blown it up?

Depends on your definition of a healthy mind.
Yes, I am suggesting that some people in their right mind want to inflict evil on a population. And that is what most of these are. They are not all "mentally ill" people that can be or want to be rehabilitated back to a sane mindset. That is not a mental illness. These people knew what they were doing is wrong, and they do it anyways.
The guy mentioned in the OP of this thread was not of an unhealthy mind. He knew what he was doing and did it anyways.
I'm not saying do nothing, but nothing provided so far has adequately moved the needle on what has or is going to happen.
And I'm guessing your suggestion is abolish the 2nd amendment in its entirety. After all, 0 guns in a society are the ONLY way to significantly reduce gun crime. If you're alright with the 2nd amendment in any capacity, you're alright with some level of gun crimes. Freedom carries a price. That's something that apologetic liberals want to skirt around.

I have to agree with this arrest for disturbing the peace. I’m a big proponent of freedom of speech and protection against prior restraint but this guy drew attention on himself in a very disruptive manner that is not kosher.

It’s sooooo easy to buy an AK-47 here in the United States, I mean it’s not like it requires an extensive background check and special licenses to own a fully automatic weapon.
