CaseFile True Crime is a current favorite for me
Silk Road was awesome. I also just listened to Operation Cathedral, which was fricked up
I’m about to start up the East Area Rapist, which I assume is about the Golden State Killer
What case file episodes or true crime episodes do you like?

All on this particular podcast channel?

I thought COLD was very well done.
Crazy it's been 10 years and they still have never found the remains of Susan Powell. That poor family.

Last Podcast on the Left, if you don’t mind people making really crude jokes about sensitive subjects. They research their topics better than some of the other true crime podcasters. Some of my favorite topics of theirs were Casey Anthony, Jonestown, Ted Bundy, H.H. Holmes, West Memphis Three.
Dr. Death impacted me the most. It’s about medical crime, but it was horrifying.
Cold is about a guy who killed his wife & (sort of) got away with it. It’s very, very well done.
Man in the Window is about the Golden State Killer.
Dirty John was my true crime gateway podcast.
Sword & Scale used to be one of my favorites, but I’m pretty indifferent since I’ve moved on to better shows.

I listened to the entire podcast in like one weekend. It it insane how that guy was still performing surgeries as long as he was and basically butchering people in the process(even killing some of his patients as you know).
Can you imagine how much longer he would have been practicing if not for those doctors that were hellbent on exposing this guy?

The one where the kid gets catfished by another kid in a chat room and tricked into sucking his dick and then killing him.

It’s terrifying!! I had no idea there was such a rampant culture of hospitals not reporting doctors, and instead quietly letting them go and passing the buck to the next facility.

It is, and it’s one of the best podcasts on this subject that I’ve listened to. I haven’t listened to many of the Casefile episodes, but the ones on the EAR are fantastic.

LPoL is my all time favorite. Personally I love the guys' banter, but it's not for everyone. The Donner Party episodes are fantastic in addition to the ones that you mentioned.

I’m listening to part 1 now. Is it worth it to save for long drives? I don’t want to do it a disservice and listen while working if it requires full attention

Up and Vannished is pretty good.
Casefiles did a Jonestown 3 part episode that was really good.

It’s very repetitive. He stalks, he rapes, he eats, he rapes again, has an abnormally small dick. There’s more to the story, but 2/5 podcasts are repeating slightly different versions of this story.

They’re my favorite, too. I love their humor, and learn new things even about topics I’ve heard before. I haven’t listened to the Donner Party episodes yet. Adding them now. I discovered the show a few months ago, and have listened to maybe 40% of their content, skipping most of the creepypasta/side stories to try to listen to the bigger episodes.

I enjoyed the first season, but lost interest pretty quickly in the second season.
Season 3 of Serial is fantastic. It doesn't follow one particular case, but rather focuses on the justice system overall. It will make your blood boil at times.
