You are probably in the crowd that sees a knife as a weapon. I see one as a tool.I use it at work, at home working in the yard, and in everyday situations. Saying things like letting the operation people do it sounds like you probably get manicures. I carry a CRKT now, havea kersaw, and cheapie I keep in the truck.

Though it was obviously an attempt at condescension, that's exactly how it translates.

I sit in an office and recieve letters. I use a letter opener to open my letters. If something is in “that damn plastic packaging everything comes in” then someone else takes care of that for me. What they use, I don’t care, but I’m certainly not going to spend the time fricking around with things that require a knife.

Why do you and mingo even care what men carry in their pockets everyday? This is pretty funny, actually.

I bill at more than several hundred dollars an hour, why would I waste time putting a chair together or some other task that would require a knife when I could make money and I already pay someone to do it anyway? Just seems dumb, no?

So a dull knife.

I assume for boxes or other packaging? You have two objects that could be replaced by one, a knife.

A simple Boker Soligen Germany, two bladed. About 73 years old. It was my grandfathers, a WW2 Navy vet who passed back in '05. Never use it, but keep in my pocket everyday.

Your posts would be more appropriate if this were the "How many of you think carrying pocket knives is for serfs??" thread.
But that wasn't the OP's intention.

If you believe you have evolved above carrying pocket knives, good for you. But crapping on those who do is childish. Kind of like the king of all foolish opinions: "REAL men don't carry guns!" Yeah, okay, Clark Kent.

All I did was simply point out that not everyone needs to carry a knife everyday at all times and people came in saying people that do that must be a fairy and gent manicures and blah blah blah. I don't care if you do or not, but walking around like having a knife in your is some badge of honor is retarded. Congrats

Don’t worry no one who is a manager would be that inefficient with their most valuable resource labor.

My wife bought me a Kershaw Leek for christmas:

I used to carry a spyderco military, but it got lost:

If I were going to buy myself a new one to carry, it would be a Benchmade Presidio:

More than several? How do you even comprehend what this is? Does that mean thousands? Btw no big dogs actually bill out unless your an attorney. I haven’t tracked an hour in years. And I know with your mastery of the English language you are an it worker not an attorney.
