Mercator K55K. They have been making them in Germany since 1867. Nothing fancy but it’s thin and shaving sharp.

I probably have close to 100 knives but rotate around 10 or 15.

Sypderco Paramilitary 2 is one of my favorites.

Only rednecks carry pocket knives after they leave boy scouts.

What do you all do that you need a knife on your person at all times? I can understand why it would be useful for some outdoor manual labor type jobs, but I’ve seen people with office jobs carrying knives on them.

Cheap and small. Can easily throw it away if I can’t bring it in somewhere.

even open letters/envelopes bro?

But seriously, I’d never buy a knife from a big box store. I’m not saying those knives aren’t sharp (they will be....for a few cuts). I’d rather spend a little more for better long term quality. I shop at a semi-prominent local knife maker as a result. Let the down votes commence.

I use mine nearly every day. Theyre especially great for opening that damn plastic packaging everything comes in.

And if youre a man, theres something satisfying about having a knife with you, no matter how small.

You bogeyed this one.
Professional, but I still open boxes and you never know when you will need it. To me it is also a bit about being someone willing to work if work needs to be done. I’m never tooo important to do the job that needs to be done and always ready to do it

You pull out a pocket knife to open envelopes?

I open envelopes everyday. I have a letter opener and a pair of scissors in my office if I need it.

You sound like one of those prima donna managerial consultants, that spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to tell people the most basic things.

Not at all. I see the utility in carrying a knife everyday for some jobs. I just can’t see why I or most other people that work office jobs would need to carry a knife when there’s a pair of scissors in the desk.

Almost anything from CRKT is good. Won't break the bank, look good, and are made very well.
