GEC is probably my favorite, had a Benchmade that I also loved. Lost it 4 times, the fourth time I never found it. Bummer!

Man, I never have been able to get comfortable with their locks. Must be some technique I'm missing.

Swiss Army Trekker is my most frequent.
I carried a variety of Spiderco knives for many years, but realized that other tools were also nice to have beyond the knife blade.

Why are you asking me? Is it rhetorical? I do.

I have some really old knives I inherited from my grandfather. Frost Cutlery, Case, Uncle Henry, Old Timer and others. I rarely carry them because they’re heavy, but they are kept honed. I think around 40 knives. I have a Case, stag handle folding knife with a leather sheath my dad gave me at least 45 years ago. I’ll leave it to my son.
My daily carry is from Bear & Son, a family-owned knife company in Jacksonville, AL. It’s a polymer grip, assisted opener, 3-inch blade with a pocket-boot clip. They are made in their local factory in Jacksonville. I usually go to their annual clearance sale and factory tour in November. I have bought quite a few there.
I also like and have several Gerbers and Kershaws. I’ve skinned a few deer with my Gerber Gator. Lots of good knives out there.

I've been carrying a relatively small Old Timer pocket knife for decades.
It has 3 blades with the biggest one being only about 3 inches long and 2 smaller blades, one with a rounded end that is sharp including the round end and the other with just a straight blade to a rounded blunt end.
I should really replace it since it's been sharpened so many times over the years that the main blade is getting worn. If I do, it will be with a slightly larger bladed knife.

I had an Old Timer that I carried around for a while. It needed cleaning up and sharpened. There was an old gentleman I worked with and knowing he loved knives of all variations and sizes I gave it to him to recondition.
When he brought it back to me, it looked brand new and he remarked how much he liked that knife and wished he could find one like it for his collection.
When his retirement came, I had found a gift box and presented it to him with the knife inside and you would have thought he won the lottery.
I haven't carried one since, but these threads always remind me of him that that knife. I'm not sure he was able to sneak it pass the pearly gates when he passed, but I would like to think he tried.
Edited: It was an Old Timer, not a Case as posted.

Rize, do you own any GEC?
I do not. Mainly case and a couple Boker folding knives. I’ve got a few nicer fixed blade custom knives.

Not regularly but I should.
The case texas toothpick is nice to look at, nice to hold, and will be fine for every day light duty.

I’ve got a big knife like that. Back in the early 80’s a guy owed my dad some money for weed and he was a knife maker and he turned a jungle machete into a big arse Bowie knife.

I used Boker for years. Specifically the Boker Stockman.
Lost my first to the TSA at ATL.
Boker moved manufacturing to Argentina and changed the type of steel, so walking around with it in my pocket got surface rust.
The best knife I’ve bought in the last 10 years was $8 at Ace hardware and made in China.
