Legally? Unless you're coming around the bend and it was impossible to see them and slow down, you'll be going to prison under some theory of murder, attempted murder, manslaughter. You'll also be sued civilly and will probably lose most of what you have.

How about the guy standing on your hood ask them about Altons criminal record??? Or ask ANY mothers out there if they would want a sexual predator near their child. Ask them what they think about a guy that has been arrested 20 times since he was 17. And then ask if he should have had a gun while being a convicted felon.....

I think if you've accessed the situation and determined that people aren't standing in the street because of some problems such as a wreck ahead, bridge out, etc. and they are there simply to try to impede traffic, I think it should be OK to drive through them ,maybe toot your horn, go at a runner's pace, and proceed along.

what if you roll thru the protesters at about 5 mph. They get pissed and bust your window out and start punching you? Can you shoot them?

If you go like 10 miles an hour, its likely not deadly and they cant stop your vehicle.

I suspect it's illegal to intentionally murder people because they are racist, "might" be hostile, and will delay your commute.
The threat has to be eminent. Like if they converge on your car then go ahead and plow through them. If you see them holding hands then you can't just plow through. Stop and wait, go around, or turn around.

Ehh. You'll be charged with voluntary manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter.
Under voluntary manslaughter - the State would say that you were acting under an imperfect self-defense theory and that you unreasonably believed deadly force was necessary.
Under an involuntary manslaughter theory - the State would say some of your killings (as you mentioned that you're trying to hit as many as possible) would constitute a killing committed with gross negligence.
You better hope 1.) the State doesn't load up with a "favorable jury" and 2.) the jury whole-heartedly agrees with your deadly force theory of self-defense. I'd say you'd be fricked.
