re: Plowing through protesters question?

Not trying to act like a hard arse or anything, but if I see a line of people forming on the horizon as I'm traveling down the interstate, I'm going to get within 100 yards then slow to about 10-15 mph, and keep on rolling. People will probably be unhappy and hit my car as I pass, but they'll move out of the way. If I get charged with reckless driving or failure to yield to a pedestrian or some shite, I'll take it. I'm not going to sit there for hours at the mercy of those animals.

This is pathetic.

I see this as the only acceptable opportunity to roll some f'n coal man.

It would almost be worth getting caught in that shite.

I still think the thing to do is for someone on row 2 or 3 back to roll down the window, throw out a lit pack of Black Cat firecrackers (in keeping with the whole color theme) and video the resulting rapid extraction of BLM protestors from the immediate vicinity.

rolling through is still dangerous as some of them could harm your family by breaking your windows.

Or what if one gets his leg caught under as you roll through at 10-15 mph? You still get sued.

I say it should be perfectly legal to plow through full speed ahead without the slightest bit of hesitation if they want to be uncivilized animals blocking the street while society tries to get home from work.

So we should just take civil disobedience and accept that they have a right to damage property because they are misguided?

The Rodney King truck driver should and would have every opportunity to defend himself (if he had a gun) or to blow through. Once they are trying to open the door or otherwise break into the vehicle, that raises it to a whole different scenario.

This on the other hand...not so much.
