4WD HI. Low not even necessary.

1) I could idle through, until through until someone busts my glass...

2) Throttle...

4) Profit.

OP, If you're doing the speed limit and "make an effort" to swerve, you can't be charged legally. That is an interstate for cars.. not a bunch of racist feral animals trying to show the country how (dis)unified they are. Run em over and hope they don't get your plate to sue you civilly

The Rodney King truck driver should and would have every opportunity to defend himself (if he had a gun) or to blow through. Once they are trying to open the door or otherwise break into the vehicle, that raises it to a whole different scenario.

It's an interesting question. Many of the people you'd run over wouldn't be the ones who were attacking you, the ones you were trying to get away from.

When you see them 500 yards down the road, you're going to have to slow down and/or stop.

Yeah. Great advice. Risk killing someone "in hopes" that they won't get your plate. Don't worry about the smashed fender and grill of your car, busted windshield, and pieces of flesh, bone, and blood over the vehicle. No one will notice that while you drive your vehicle home.

So I have to let them sent my truck before I can run them over?

Not sure what that means.

What about misting them with some bear spray. I'm not talking about a direct hit to the face, but a good solid misting that burns the eyes and makes it difficult to breathe. That stuff can reach out about 30 feet. Not sure if legal, but I imagine it would clear the area pretty good.

It should be 100% legal to run over someone intentionally blocking a major road way

It shouldn't "legal". However, it should negate all criminal liability. Now, in terms of civil liability, that's a different story.

Freight companies should send a bill for late delivery and extra pay for drivers sitting still

That driver was probably in the wrong and maybe even got charged, but it's pretty bad arse that he rolls through while casually resting his forearm on the door.

That's why we require drivers to have insurance. Let them handle it. shite, you pay for it. File a fricking claim.

Great, except my fricking premium would go up for a few years because some assholes played in the street. IF we made it legal to run them over, they wouldn't play in the street.

This on the other hand...not so much.

Looks perfectly acceptable to me. Why stop and invite trouble? What if they have a gun? What if they break my window and the glass harms my children in the backseat?

NOpe, I think you should be allowed to plow through.

The Law should protect the interstate system at all costs. Period. Do not let terrorists shut down an important part of this country. Laws are in place, enforce them. Protect the interstate system.

I don't plan on stopping, I'll slow down to give them time to move, but if they still don't move, sucks for them.

Sounds like it would really be worth the jail time.
