lol, 0. I changed my major a lot. Also went to 3 different colleges. After 2011 I was going mostly part time and working. I screwed up so bad on my first attempt I had to go to a CC for a few years to get my GPA back up and an associates to be eligible to go to another 4 year college. I had a 4.0 GPA on my second attempt. Just had to see for myself how much working the trades sucks and that motivated me.

We don’t allow our children to have a computer, phone, or iPad in their bedroom. They have to use it in the open areas of the house

I was all about some A/S/L’n back in the mid to late 90’s. Luckily uploading a pic required an engineering degree.

I think people got so serious about the internet that some people never learned the rules of the road.

I grew up with the internet at my disposal. I have seen literally the darkest and deepest parts of the internet. I actually went to the Silk Road through the tor browser when I was 12 years old.

764 is a whole lot more than that.
This is a couple years old now, but Wired did an in-depth investigation piece on that group. Everyone should read it.

I honestly have no idea how parents manage this with a smart device and access everywhere and all day: a few seconds of bad decision can ruin a life.
Meanwhile, more than ever, young girls/teens (via moms in many cases) are flooding social media with desire for free shite and fame while boys also get preyed on like OP post,

I've told my 15 year old son two things - when you are hanging with your friends, 1) assume someone will have their phone out and recording, and 2) assume they aren't smart enough to not post it for the world to see.
