Prayers up. Going out on his terms. Heaven is a lot better than this place full of COVID-19, riots, BLM and politics.

What a brave and loving post about your wonderful father. You appear to have learned much from him and he is living his life to the end on his terms. Not many other that opportunity and have the courage to carry through. Stay as strong as you can and pray and I will be praying along as well. Lost my dad when I was a young man and have missed him every day since. May God lighten your burden in this difficult time.

UPDATE- My dad peacefully went with the Lord today. He was in a comotose state/sleeping for almost 2 days. I lowered the railing of the hospital bed and went to lay on my dads chest and told him “ I am going to be okay. I promise. My husband will be here shortly so he can tell you something important. Dad I love you and can’t wait to see you in Paris when we go to the Eiffel Tower. I love you so much dad.” My husband arrived at my dads and I let him talk to him and i went outside. Not even within 5 minutes he comes to get me from outside and says “it’s over now. You’ll be okay. Everything will be okay”
I wept so hard but it didn’t last long. I came to my senses and said this all happened for a reason. He couldn’t let go of his little girl without knowing she would be okay. Please pray for our family as we go through this. My dad was such a great man and father to so many of our friends. Thank you for everyone’s support.

I hope my daughter grows up to love me as much as you loved your father. He seems like he was a great dad.

I’m sure you will be ok, and he knew that you will. I know you wanted him to keep fighting, but he was at peace with his life. I hope we all are at peace when our road comes to an end.
